100 N. Main: B-Sides

For a large amount of time, I have been documenting the abandoned 100 N. Main block in Downtown Memphis. It has been a passion project that has taken me places that I never thought I would go. Equally, it has always been a dream of mine to get into the building. Here’s the trick (and arguably the most difficult part)… I wanted to see just how difficult it would be to get in legally. Yes, we see photos from people who have broken in, vandalized the building, climbed to the top, and then posted all of the photos from the experience. Cool beans. But, I was curious just how hard it would be to truly get in legally. It was… actually really, really hard. After 17 emails, countless hours of research, multiple conversations, and many failed leads; I finally got in! This is a small set of photos from the series to get you excited for what I plan to release in the future!
