Lelia

Deep in Louisiana during the peak of the summer heat, Joshua Cannon and I collaborated with Marcella Simien to create a documentary-style music video for a beautiful song titled Lelia from her new album. We found the moments as we walked into them, and ended up with a piece exploring her family’s heritage, their faith and how the two intertwine to speak through music.
